Do you know why most franchises don't make a smooth jump to handhelds? It's because most developers never take the time to properly adjust game play for the new platform. Sure sometimes you get a game like God of War: Chains of Olympus that's really fun, but there's nothing there that screams, "This won't be ported to the PS2 in 3 months!"
